Great Art is made with Great Design

Composition is the structure of artwork.  Composition is built using principles of design.  Find out why your eye is attracted to a certain point of a painting.  Learn why contrast (light areas vs dark areas) is so powerful in good design.  Explore harmony, balance, repetition, and several other design principles that will help you make a more informed decision when adding art to your collection.  You already naturally know what good design is and after reading Scot's "Guide To Great Design" you'll be able to express why you like the art you like.
